It's refreshing. And it absolutely brings a smile to my face that there are people that can go "that extra mile" for a complete stranger. No ulterior motive, no plans, no seductions, no manipulations. just honesty and sincerity. A fun, genuinely interested exchange, followed by curiosity at the sign of diminishing communication.
I appreciate that. I don't have too much experience with it.
Some will go months, and some even years without a word and return as if the time hasn't passed. What's worse, speak to you and never even try to touch on why the absence occurred at all. You know what I mean. You reached out in my lack of messages and replies and SPOKE to me. You've been gone too, and you say so, and then tell me why. You didn't go into elaborate details or explanations about you nor your situation, but you approached the issue. I repeat, that I can't say I have a lot of experience with that from those who claim to be close to me; And I don't even know your name.

I've never been into drinking. Ever. But tonight, I suppose I can understand the allure. The day started out with me heading out and helping out my father. Ran errands and what not. Ran into a few friends and my little cousin, and that's when the fire nation attacked.
No, seriously, put him or his father into my day's equation and any form of routine hits the shredder quick, fast and in a hurry; Randomly decided to take him and a few others to a party and drive off to finish conversation with a friend. I go back to pick them up, because they called me asking for a ride, and instead stay with them. Thusly, drinking began and tonight was one of the best nights I've ever had. And the feeling the alcohol gave me weren't horrid nor nauseating. Don't ask me what I drank, I have no idea. But the strangers I conversed with, and the overall fun being had was like a high. A high that I desperately needed. The drinking game was interesting too... Good company, calm interaction (to an extent as drunks are funny...)
